Thank you East Bay Butterfly Counters!

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the East Bay's Annual Rhode Island Butterfly Count on June 28th!  We have received some great data, and are waiting on a few more submissions.  So if you participated in the East Bay count and have data and/or photos to share please send them our way!  I would like to compile and release the preliminary data on the East Bay count next week.

NEXT UP:  JULY 12th WEST BAY COUNT!

We have numerous ways for you to be involved - either join a Naturalist-led butterfly count (great for beginners) or if you are experienced in butterfly identification survey an area on your own!  Either way it is a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning!  Check out the map of survey circles linked to this blog.

Most of the information you will need is posted on this blog.  Don't forget to register with Audubon, and contact Jon with any questions!
