Butterfly Count Leaders

Thanks to all the expert Lepidopterists who agreed to lead a public count for this year's 12th annual Rhode Island Butterfly Count!  Following is a list of the count locations (aka surveys), the times, and the leaders.  When you sign up for a specific count I will send out directions, a checklist and more details about the count.  We hope that you have a great time!

And thank you to all the experts who also agreed to conduct a private count at specific locations in the approved count circles across Rhode Island. 

We look forward to receiving your observation data and photos! 

All of your observational data is complied and then sent to the North American Butterfly Association for inclusion in their data and reports.  Please note that there is a suggested donation of $5.00 per person that goes to the North American Butterfly Association.
